This past weekend we went to St. Louis to visit our friends, the Kreidlers. We met up for lunch on Saturday and went to the Butterfly House and the St. Louis Carousel. The kids had a blast playing on the playground enjoying the beautiful day.
From there we went to the Lone Elk Park and saw several elk and bison. After that we headed to the Kreidler's house and Paul cooked out while I got to watch the first half of the Illinois - Iowa basketball game (still surprised we won!).
After we ate, Paul and I rode the Metro down to watch the Blues play San Jose. We had great seats, just too bad the Blues couldn't score a goal. We headed back to Springfield on Sunday for Brittany to attend one of her classmate's birthday parties and for Brandon to have his first basketball practice of the year.
